Swinging Doors typically come double drilled from the factory to fit standard levers and deadbolts, but do not include the hardware itself. If you wish to order hardware with your door, select from emtek.com.

Optional Multi-point Hardware

All Swinging Doors ordered with Multi-Point locks come with hardware included. Multi-Point Locks latch in three places on the door jamb: top, middle, and bottom. This creates a tighter seal, increases the panel rigidity, and increases the level of security. Multi-Point Locks are highly recommended for 8’ doors.

HOW DOES A PULL BAR SYSTEM WORK?To achieve a sleek modern look, a Pull Bar is paired with a minimalist Thumb-Turn Lock. You have the choice of two different systems:

Auto-Locking: The door locks automatically upon leaving, and always requires a key for re-entry.

Roller catches: The door does not lock automatically, and uses roller catches to allow easy re-entry. The hook-style multi-point requires 2.5 rotations of the Thumb-Turn to fully lock the door.
